Since his passing last summer, XXXTentacion’s murder still haunts his fans, friends, and family. Naturally, his mother Cleopatra Bernard remains in the mourning process, and our support goes out to her. It’s no wonder that Bernard is looking to retain all memories of her son, emotionally difficult as it may be. Now, TMZ has reported that Bernard is looking to procure X’s BMW back from the state of Florida, the very one he was murdered in.

Apparently, Bernard has moved to request 2017 Black BMW i8 be returned to her possession, as the police have already finished processing and photographing the vehicle. The publication continues, explaining that Bernard and other members X’s family want to make sure that the vehicle does not sustain any damage that might arise during its storage. Unfortunately, there remains a possible hurdle. The defense team of Dedrick Williams, who currently stands accused as one of Triple X’s alleged killers, must complete their own inspection of the vehicle; should the judge agree to Bernard’s request, Williams’ team will have until February.

Sad as it may be to receive such a tragic reminder, holding onto one of Triple X’s possessions might help bring about some much-needed closure. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cleopatra Bernard.
