Between dropping off hits and rubbing shoulders with legends, Young Gerald has acquainted himself well alongside hip-hop’s elite. Now, it would appear that he’s been cultivating his bromance with Diddy, who recently celebrated his forty-ninth birthday in a truly lavish fashion: skydiving into the Playboy mansion. Death-defying stunts aside, Diddy’s big night appeared grounded by good company, including the homie G-Eazy.

In a subsequent IG post, or perhaps one posted while still in the throes of inebriation, Gerald sang Diddy’s praises. “Big ups to one of the realest,” he writes, alongside a bromance-worthy photograph. “Happy birthday and congrats on everything you’ve built, there will never be another like you.” It’s simply another instance of real recognizing real, though we have to wonder how much Ciroc was consumed over the course of the evening.
