6ix9ine is officially number one.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Tekashi 6ix9ine actually took the top spot on the Billboard 200. The rapper’s latest project, DUMMY BOY beat out Travis Scott’s Astroworld by a landslide. Sources at Nielsen claim 6ix9ine took the top spot from Scott by less than 200 units. It’s also reported that Billboard printed Scott at #1 although there was an email exchange with both parties saying they’d switch out Scott for 6ix9ine. As of now, the Billboard 200 still shows the result of the Dec. 1st chart.
Despite the minor discrepancy dethroning Travis Scott, the rapper still legitamately has the number one song in the country with “SICKO MODE.” The song marks Travis Scott’s first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 after several weeks of flirting with the top position.
