There’s always something going down at ComplexCon. The event’s 2018 edition included Tekashi 6ix9ine’s failure to enter. The New York native was blocked from stepping into his hotel due to light scuffle with YG’s artist, Slim 400, who happens to be local. Insults were hurled back and forth while people were being held back from engaging in a full-on physical fight. A video clip of the incident is available below.

The hostile encounter took place on Sunday night at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach. 69’s crew was immediately confronted at the entrance by Slim 400 and his entourage who were posted at the front door in anticipation of the arrival. The tensions rise until an angered Tekashi decided to leave the scene and ditch the event completely. His reason for leaving might be linked to his probation.

Slim 400 seemed pleased after posting up against 69 successfully, claiming his terrain and preventing the Gummo rapper from attending the Los Angeles convention. Slim filmed himself after the fight and uploaded a little commentary to social media.

“Stopped that n*gga at the door. 6ix9ine couldn’t get in, ain’t hit no stage, ain’t walked around, did sh*t. Ain’t no colorful haired n*ggas pulling up.”

YG’s crew have made their dislike for Tekashi quite public. The rapper’s “Bulletproof” video event featured a doppelganger of the skittle-colored rapper.
